After a light wind start to the Hempel Youth Sailing World Championships on Monday, the intensity will increase on Tuesday with stronger winds forecast. As the day progresses, the wind will shift towards the north and decrease to 6-12 knots. At 16:00 the breeze is expected to swing back to the north west and pick up to a maximum of 18 knots. For the Girl’s 29er and 420 and the Boy’s and Girl’s RS:X fleets, Tuesday marks the start of their 2019 Hempel Youth Worlds campaign after they were unable to race on Monday due to light breeze. Each fleet have an additional race scheduled in a bid to catch up on their schedule.
